When you opt-in to the service, we will send you an SMS message to confirm and verify your signup for StateWise Energy services.

StateWise Energy also uses text messaging to provide important account‑related information to our customers. When you share your mobile phone number with us—whether during enrollment, in your online account, or through a conversation with our customer care team—you may receive text messages that help you stay informed about your account. These messages can include payment reminders, past‑due alerts, service notifications, and confirmations related to your energy service. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this channel.

By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive these account‑related text messages from StateWise Energy. Message frequency depends on your account activity, however we will not send more than 6 messages per month, and standard message and data rates may apply. If at any time you no longer want to receive texts from us, you may reply with words such as “STOP,” “END,” “CANCEL,” “QUIT,” or “UNSUBSCRIBE,” and we will stop sending messages to your number. After opting out, you will receive a brief confirmation message. If you have multiple services or accounts, you may need to opt out separately for each one. If you ever need assistance with our text program, you can reply “HELP” for support information or contact our customer service team directly by phone or email.

We value your privacy and handle your personal information responsibly. Text messages from StateWise Energy will never ask you for sensitive personal information like social security numbers or credit card numbers. We also avoid the use of public link shorteners to ensure you can clearly identify links from us. If you ever receive a text message that seems suspicious or inconsistent with our usual communications, we encourage you to contact us so we can help verify it.

Our goal is to send messages at appropriate times. Although urgent service notifications may be sent, when necessary, we generally aim to deliver texts between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Because text delivery depends on your mobile carrier, messages may occasionally be delayed or undelivered, and StateWise Energy is not responsible for carrier‑related issues.

We are able to deliver messages to the following mobile phone carriers:

By continuing to receive text messages from us after any updates, you acknowledge and accept the revised policy.
